Today I didn’t train. I took a long walk (at the Zoo and around town) and enjoyed a cup of coffee instead. 🙂 I started my Paleo Diet today and had the following:
- 2-3 (not sure…) Paleo Pancakes (almond flour, coconut flour, applesauce, blueberries)Â >>Â They were really filling, tasted great, but they fell apart. I’ll keep working at them and report back when I have a good recipe. See photo below.
- 3/4Â slice of pepper crusted steak (not sure of the cut–I forgot)
- 1/2 c grilled chicken w/asparagus and peppers sprinkled on top
- coffee w/splash of coconut creamer
- 16 oz. carrot, spinach, beet, ginger, kale juice
These are the pancakes I tried making–yummy but didn’t hold well.

Starting tomorrow I’ll report on the following dimensions daily:
- food (did I get my protein in? did I eat paleo?)
- supplements (I have a host of supplements I’m taking which I’ll introduce you to)
- caffeine intake (caffeine on weekends only for me)
- exercise / training
